Crazy about Hudson

Hudson is increasingly being adopted as a continous integration tool for Maven 2 projects. I feel like I had been working with it all my life, although I only did it for the last year. It gives me real time information about broken functionality, code quality assurance measure, dependency reports, etc etc etc.
Recently I have read 2 articles about Hudson which surprised me: a report about the recent demand of continous integration professionals and antoher one about Hudson helper for iPhone and Android!

Altough you can think the last will surprise you more than the former, look at the graphic about jobs which contains the words Hudson+Continuous+Integration (source: indeed.com):

ACTF inside Eclipse Galileo

I just view a webminar by Chieko Asakawa (IBM) and Kentarou Fukuda (IBM). Exposes very clearly the web accesibility problem and how the Eclipse Project is working to provide tools for checking the level of accesibility of your webs.

The Accessibility Tools Framework (ACTF) version 0.7 is included in the brand new Eclise Galileo, and the ACTF 1.0 will be released in sep 09. The installation is optional and is under the General Purpose Tools category of the galileo update site (http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo).

For those who work with webs or web applications it gives you some cool features:
  • Integrated blind and low vision visualization
  • Accesibility and usability report
  • HTML accesibility perspective
  • OpenDocument accesibility perspective (supports OpenOffice 3.x)
  • Integrated with Web Tools Project

I'm back

Near two years without posting due to an attack to my web site (www.dominpe.com). I tried to recover it several times, but had no luck. In short, I can't stand without writing something, even about programming.

I will try to post again, and contribute with experiences, 2 cents, tips and tricks. I will write some of the articles I thought about during last year, mainly about enterprise technologies and web applications.
